Linux Resources

#1 Post by magnus » Thu Oct 19, 2006 11:56 pm

I thought I'd try and get this ball rolling. The idea being to have one thread for good resources relating to using Linux on ThinkPads and other linux resources in general. Not sure if there's a demand for it, but it would have saved me a few hours with google when I got my TP :)

Here's some for starters:

http://www.thinkwiki.org - Not distro specific - ThinkPad specific - An awesome site as well. A pretty big wiki dedicated to installing Linux on Thinkpads. Doesn't get much better.

http://ubuntuguide.org - Distro: Ubuntu - Not ThinkPad specific - Quick and easy answers to most "getting started" questions.

http://www.linuxquestions.org/ - Not distro specific - Not ThinkPad specific - Huge site with answers to all kinds of questions.
