I'm using Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft on my x60 and want to increase my battery life. I currently have apmd and powernowd installed and taking care of power management. I was looking at kpowersave and powersaved as power management utilities and was wondering if there is any advantage to using those instead?

I'm not sure there is any advantage to using the K version of the tools over the other.

The only thing is that you can only have one installed at a time, or they'll ruin it for eachother.
