Cheap LTSP thin clients

#1 Post by iMav » Wed Mar 28, 2007 10:59 am

It just dawned on me that low-end Thinkpads would make PERFECT thin clients. Sub-$100 T20's seem to be fairly plentiful on Ebay and other places. With their 500-700Mhz CPU's and 128MB of ram standard, they are more than beefy enough (actually, almost overkill). :)

And their NIC's do support PXE net booting. Absolutely perfect!

You are right about that. Now that the price is down they are the perfect unit for this setup.
