Hi all,
I tried to install the tp smapi driver in ubuntu as explained on think wiki, but i get this error :
Makefile:25: *** This driver requires kernel 2.6.15 or newer, and matching kernel headers.. Arrêt.
I run ubuntu feisty so i have 2.6.20 kernel. Has somebody succeded in installing tp smapi ?
Thank you

So.. do you have the kernel headers installed? They should be installed by default, I think, but you can make sure by typing sudo apt-get install linux-kernel-headers.

What's your problem with the ATI driver?
Are you sure it's not your xorg.conf problem?
For wifi, you need to do some symlinking if you have the Intel chip. I am not sure about the Athereo chip, but shouldn't be any harder.

3D acceleration is slowest than with standard ubuntu kernel... But yes, it may be a xorg problem... And i have the intel wifi chip... Do you have an idea to fix this problem ?
And are your files including tp smapi ?

the posted deb's are all you need.
Read the post, there are instructions on how to symlink daemons and firmwares to new kernel. And how to run aticonfig

Since it's about problems on my packages, why don't you post it under that thread, so that you can help me revive it from the bottom of this forum here and also making it more unifying.
post your xorg.conf under my thread, I will take a look.
For hdaps, make sure you load the module hdaps
