Mini-Dock w/R50/Mandriva07

I'm looking to buy a mini-dock, but have read that it's not compatible with linux (read this on IBM's site and found similar issues on this site when searching) However, many of the posts I found were from '05 to August '06. Has anyone had luck with the dock? any issues I should look out for? etc?

Just bought the dock on eBay. I'm just going to try it. I'll let everyone know if it works.

I received the dock today. Plugged it in and dropped in my TP (R50)... The system froze. However, booting the system while docked, the TP works fine (including the usb, sound, and ethernet ...which is all I have plugged in right now.)

While the USB items work, if I unplug them when the system is running, the system freezes.

If I undock the TP while running, the system will freeze.

Thus far, I'm happy with this purchase. I'll just have to do a little more research to see what can be done about all this freezing when I get more time... and sleep! (I'll update when I get more info)
