Heat running Ubuntu 7.04 on a T60?

#1 Post by propellen » Wed May 23, 2007 4:44 am

Hi,

I've got a T60 2007-FUG, and it runs hotter in Ubuntu than in XP.

How hot is your machine getting, compared to XP?
How often does your fan run in Ubuntu?

I really enjoy dualbooting with Ubuntu, but there are some minor things i would love to sort out. Such as the batterytime and the heat.

:D
Thanks.

Hi Propellen

Try using PHC for Linux:

Scroll down for an allready compiled module.
