KVM & Windows XP Rescue & Recover CDs

I have a T60p and want to run Windows XP under Fedora 7 for the few remaining Windows programs I still need (mostly IE7 so I can make sure websites I make work properly. Wine only supports IE6.). However, I guess I need retail or OEM install CDs. Is this the case? If not, can I use the R&R CDs? I'm running Fedora 7 and my BIOS supports Intel-VT. I want to run KVM, not XEN. Does Lenovo sell OEM or retail CDs at a discount considering I already have a license?

I don't have T6x recovery CDs, but I have a WinXP install disc if you need one. If you do, PM me.

It seems my problem is solved here:

And I got it working! Windows Update is downloading now.

Hi,
I have the same requirement as to run windows on Fedora 7 using XEN or KVM, but for me its vista instead of XP as my Thinkpad T61 came with vista business instead of XP.
Is it possible to create vista disc as you created XP disc, or is it possible to install vista using product recovery disc on a virtual machine(XEN or KVM) without using the retail vista disc.?
Or is there any better way to run both Linux and Vista together?
I need to run vista(guest) on Linux(Host) , but not the other way Linux(guest) on Vista(host) as I will be working more on Linux.
Any help??
Thanks.

When I bought my T60p, Vista wasn't out, but I was supposed to get a copy but never got it and can't find anything about the process at Lenovo.com. I guess you'll just have to try making a disc using the XP procedure and if it doesn't work try a google search. Sorry I could help more.
I found the graphical tools in Fedora to be a little flakey so I use:
sudo qemu-kvm -boot c -hda /home/mrtheguy/KVM/XP -hdb /dev/sda1 -cdrom /home/mrtheguy/CDImages/Spanish.iso -full-screen -net nic -net user -m 512 -localtime -soundhw es1370 -smp 2 -usb &
from the command line.
