DVI in Linux

#1 Post by DenTP4rm » Sat Sep 08, 2007 9:17 am

Does anybody have any experience with getting DVI on a Thinkpad to work in Linux? Since this is only possible by using the Advanced Mini Dock I'm hoping any replies will reference that route. I'm specifically interested in the T60p but, anything similar would be helpful.
thanks,

DVI from the Advanced Mini Dock works fine with Linux. I'm running Ubuntu 7.04 on my T60 and have two 21 inch Samsung TFTs attached to the dock (DVI & VGA). Works great, except the quality of the VGA image isn't that great compared to the image on the DVI connected screen.

Hey aerials, thanks. This is the first reply to a question about DVI in Linux I've seen on the forum. If anybody else has experience to add please comment.
thanks,
