#1 Post by amwus » Thu Oct 25, 2007 1:18 pm

Hi !

Before i installed Ati proprietarty driver on my Fedora 7, all worked out of the box, suspend to disk and to ram. But since i installed those drivers, It doesn't work anymore !

Any idea to get it back ?

Thanks !

Get rid of the proprietary stuff. Nobody can help you if you don't have the source code.

I have F7 on my T60 (you didn't mention your machine, but I'm going to go WAY out on a limb and guess it has an ATI chip), and suspend does not work. It seems other people have gotten it to work, but I haven't spent enough time on the issue to get mine working.

The linux-thinkpad mailing list has had some discussion, but I haven't kept up with the results.

Let us know what you find!
