X40 - 2100B - Fedora Core

#1 Post by ldbobby-unloggedin » Fri May 28, 2004 3:42 pm

Has anyone gotten this combination to work? So I've got an X40 with the Intel 2100B wireless mini pci card and have Fedora Core 2 installed. I've tried ndiswrapper and the intel drivers. Both don't work.

As for ndiswrapper, I have acpi on, but whenever I type "modprobe ndiswrapper" the cursor stops blinking and the keyboard and mouse stop responding. I've read their faq's and can't seem to find the problem. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks!

sorry to hear that

KNoppix 3.4 picked up the wireless in a heartbeat... why can't the hardware detection folks get together?
