R50p: Gusty Gibbon vs. hibernation-is it really doing it?

#1 Post by mgo » Sat Jan 12, 2008 5:30 pm

Sleep seems to work well on my R50p when I press Fn+F4

I -think- it's hibernating when I press Fn+F12, but it sure takes a long time going in and out of it. As long as Vista takes in hibernate functions to run. This normal to take a while? Is hibernate even supported well with Gutsy?

Oh, and how do I make the scroll bar wider? Hard to trap it with my mouse pointer as it is....

Thanks.

More ram = longer hibernate. Don't know much else as I don't use it much... It hasn't choked the times I used it so I guess it does work.

The easiest way to change the scrollbar is to change the theme. I believe there are a few themes floating around out there that have an option for a larger scrollbar.
