Help with mic input on T60p Ubuntu 7.10

Hi all,

I'm not able to get my audio input work under Ubuntu 7.10. I ran gstreamer-properties and selected every plugin (ALSA, OSS) for Default Input but when I hit "Test" it gave me back this message

Failed to construct test pipeline for 'ALSA - Advanced Linux Sound Architecture'

Anyone got the same problem?
