#1 Post by indiglo » Tue Mar 11, 2008 6:54 am

Hi. Does anyone know how to make the Fn+F7 to projector works in Suse10.3 on T61-766416U? I have no ideal how to setup this in yast or somewhere. Thanks very much.

The Fn-keys usually don't work unless the video driver has special support. With the intel integrated graphics, the easiest thing is to boot while the external display is attached - then you automatically get clone mode. I don't have the nvidia graphics in my T61, but from my experiences with their driver you'll have to edit /etc/xorg.conf.

Thinkwiki has some information on this. Your best bet is to create a script that'll do some xrandr commands when you hit fn-f7.
