Fedora and Docking station

Hi all

I installed Fedora core 3 on my T41p. Unfortunatly I installed it while watching TV and now, although everything works perfectly, I cannot use it when the laptop is in the docking station.

I think the problem is with the screen driver as if I open the Laptop while it is connected to the docking station I can run Fedora without any problems. When I boot it with the Laptop closed (i.e. using the external monitor) I get the GRUB menu and quite soon after that the monitor goes dark.

I have already changed the resolution to 1280 x 1024 so that it does not clash with the screen I have installed.

Anybody have Fedora running like this?
