Lenovo's drivers and tools on T60 w/ Opensuse 11

#1 Post by medievalventilator » Tue Jul 15, 2008 9:20 pm

Hi,

I know that Lenovo created a whole bunch of software tools that are supposed to work with the last two workstation laptop series. I wonder if they could also be made to work on a non-workstation model like mine running Opensuse. It seems to me that everything is roughly the same on the software and the hardware front, but obviously not identical.

A second question, which is where my main interest in asking the first question lies, is about power management. Does Lenovo's Linux power manager do a better job than the one the rest of us use?

Many thanks in advance.

It looks like the power manager crashes the application menu. Quite strange.
