Okay, so Linux Mint works pretty well on the A31. I've been using it the last couple of days and so far its been stable and easy to use. I do notice that it seems to be running warmer than before-- I assume this is because power management isn't well supported under Linux.
The USB ports on the A31 work fine, however, when the machine is docked in the Dock II (the big one with the built in power supply), the onboard USB is blocked and I'm forced to use the ones on the dock. When I plug in a flash drive, the light on the drive blinks on, then off once. Its never detected by the system and doesn't seem to get any power after that.
What do I need to do to get the ports on the Dock II recognized in Linux?
