Does Linux support this webcam from Lenovo?

Not a UVC device, that is, does not adhere to the usb video standard and hence does not work with a generic driver. DO NOT BUY. Probably unsupported, and even if you find a driver it'll be a pain to keep up with future kernel updates....

I'm using the Logitech "quickcam pro for notebooks" every day, and can recommend it. Works and clips nicely to the top of my X61 lid.

I heard that, too.

Still, why rely on a relatively new reverse-engineered driver if there is a standardized way of doing things (UVC).
