remote desktop with FC3 on t42

#1 Post by gesly » Wed Jan 26, 2005 8:53 pm

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how I could get remote desktop working on FC3. When I try to rdesktop from KDE, using the rdp protocol, to connect to a Win XP machine, the software gives me an error saying "I need to run a higher version of rdesktop , I am using 1.3.1. Says I need to use 1.3.2 or higher but I couldnt find that anyone. Any clues anyone?

Looks like a bug in the frontend to rdesktop. You should be able to call rdesktop directly on the command line.

yea there is nothing with rdesktop from what I read, it is the app you are running on top of it that has the coding mistake..

look for a cvs version of the Gui and maybe they have fixed it.
