Using Wireless with Debian

I'm currently using the new PhoenixOS (FlameHawk) which is still in a trial form. Has anyone had success getting the internal wireless to work? I use a 2366-QU5 T30. The ethernet line works fine, but I'd like to be able to run via wireless. No prob with WinXP, but I want to stay with Linux, so much faster in every way. Thanks.

Hi,
why don't you try Ubuntu instead? It surely have more compatibility and its stabler.

Phoenix OS is based on Ubuntu Hardy. Is it Intel wireless or atheros? - both should work out of the box with most distributions - Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, Mandriva, OpenSuSE, etc. Check out
http://www.thinkwiki.org which will have information on setting up your particular wireless card on linux.
