battery control for partially supported Thinkpads (tp_smapi)

#1 Post by toad » Wed Apr 14, 2010 11:04 am

If you want to have total battery control over your Thinkpad but the hardware does not support it according to the thinkwiki tp_smapi page, despair not!

I have found a way for my old T41 which only supports the tp_smapi start_threshold and wrote it up on the tp_smapi Arch Wiki page :)

Feel free to post any questions in case something doesn't work.

Had a look at your script. That's quite clever. Good job.
