How to get and use cfdisk to install DSL??

I want to try out DSL, but when I come to attempt to install (by right-clicking the desktop, then going to Apps, then to Tools, then to Frugal install and then clicking on Frugal Grub), I get like a DOS window with some stuff about partitions written on it. I then go and read in the help & support window and it says about something called 'cfdisk'.

What is cfdisk, how can I get it and how does it need to be used?
Thanks

That "DOS window" is the Linux terminal and you'll probably want to do some googling about how to use it.

Regarding cfdisk, it' s a partition editor and it's used to prepare the partitions before installing DSL. Sorry I'm not familiar with DSL so you may want to look around their website to seef if they have any guides to installing (I did find this: http://www.[censored].org/f/topic-3-26-8732-0.html

I wouldn't recommend DSL for your first Linux experience. It's outdated, no longer actively maintained, and not terribly user friendly.

If it is going to be your first distro, at least keep in mind that it's *not* representative of modern desktop Linux.
