Problem downloading Ubuntu 10.04

I'm running win XP, IE 8, and have a DSL connection. I've been trying a couple times a day to download Ubuntu 10.04 ever since it was released. I usually get 6-12 MB downloaded and it stops, usually just sitting there until it times out or I close it out. A couple times I got 20-30 MB and the Max I've ever gotten was around 60-70 MB, 10% if the 699 MB file. Twice it has said "download complete" and only had a very small portion of the file downloaded. I first thought it was on the server end but I usually click the US site but it goes to a different mirror each time and they all do about the same, no noticeable difference.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
Jerry

Sounds like you ISP has his throttling misconfigured or is intentionally blocking large files? Use a program like wget or, better yet, bittorrent that can continue at the point where it was interrupted.

1+ for using a torrent client.

Donwload the torrent file from the Ubuntu site and use uTorrent to download the ISO, if your broadband is "broad" enough it's just a matter of minutes to have it downloaded.
