Program for Synaptics touchpad under Puppy Linux 5.2?

#1 Post by SC0U7 » Tue Feb 01, 2011 6:07 am

Now i got synclient, but touchpad is so sensitive, i can control the mouse by blowing on it, or howering fingers above it like a magician. Sensitivity setting alter only a little, trackpoint and external mouse work fine.

Also the cursor is trembling like on acid.

Thank you.

I believe http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Synaptics ... iver_for_X might be useful. Some window managers/tools allow you to configure each mouse (speed/...) separately.

I'm no Puppy Linux user, so I don't know the details about needed packages. I myself configure touchpad via xorg.conf, see "man 4 synaptics" - it has some very nice features.
