Turning off wireless

#1 Post by KillaByte » Wed Sep 01, 2004 4:22 pm

Hi,

I just managed to get the ipw2100 centrino wireless of my T42p to work under linux. Now I want to know if there's a more convenient way to turn off wireless again than unloading the whole driver. Fn-F5 works just for bluetooth under linux.

PS:
Has anyone gotten airsnort to work with the ipw2100 drivers? If I set the card to monitor mode and start the capture in airsnort (selected "other" as device since "wlan_ng" didn't work) it just segfaults :(
