T61/p 2.17-1.08 BIOS yanked from Lenovo downloads

I just noticed today that the T61/T61p 2.17-1.08 BIOS is no longer available for download and the website is now showing the most current is 2.10-1.08.

I got confirmation from my company's Lenovo corporate technical representative that he got email today of an issue with the 2.17 BIOS. He recommends that my company stop installing the 2.17 and use the 2.10 for now and he'll let us know when the new version is released.

Don't know if it's related to the 2.17 BIOS issue but recently we've seen a lot of T61 and T61p having issues with activating USB mice plugged into the mini-dock USB ports after docking the laptop.

I hope Lenovo releases a new BIOS soon because I updated to 2.17 and I've been getting BSODs every couple days... I'm pretty sure its related because its the only thing that's changed.

And 2.14 to 2.17 are back... So it can be just a mistake

Installed 2.18 today

I installed 2.18 today and it's working fine. Running it with Vista Ultimate x86 SP1
