Hi friends,

Is there such a laptop with 14.1" WSXGA+ in the market?

Thanks,

Nope, but there are some 14" 16:9 laptops with 1600x900, which is somewhat better than the WXGA+ 1440x900, at least as far as width goes. Although for most tasks, the limiting factor of the resolution will be the height...

The best you'll do is SXGA+ on the vertical side, either a X61t tablet or a T61. Both would have to be used.

Or do what I did. Bite the bullet and carry a 15.4" machine. Now I have 1650x1050 at about the same vertical height as my old 14.1" SXGA+. It is wider and heavier - but I have the same vertical resolution as before.

I have a UXGA screen (1600x1200) in my 14" T42. Wouldn't like to go lower than that. I think that display will fit in the T60/T61, but i'm not sure.

Anyway, you can't beat the resolution of that on a 14".
