R52 Powers up only with battery

#1 Post by ragger » Wed Nov 02, 2011 7:02 am

It works fine otherwise. I've bypassed the rear power jack using a port replicator and swapped AC adapters - same problem. No charging lights appear when either jack is used.

While searching the forum, I've found similar problems on other models, but no real solutions. Any ideas?

The only solution that I know of, is to replace the system board. Hopefully, someone else has a better solution...

Check the fuses, there's a PDF around from poshgeordie with T4x fuses, which is very similar to R52.
