I must say big thank you to TuuS. To make it short: Extremely knowledgeable, extremely helpful, extremely fair, excellent prices, shipment packed with great care. Definitely recommended.

I consider myself a demanding customer, and I am hard to be pleased, but in this case, I hardly find suitable words to describe, how pleasant this transaction was to me.

I would like to express my thanks to TuuS, who provided a kit with a rare NOS T60/T61 Frankenpad board with discrete graphics. I received everything quickly in good condition, and then he patiently answered all my questions. The result? New Life for my beloved Thinkpad!

Tsur is a good and honest seller. I purchased a X61s from him and he shipped it out very quickly and had excellent communication throughout the transaction.

Just wanted to thank TuuS for outstanding service beyond my expectations. I ordered and received three panels (15" UXGA panels with LED back lighting) several weeks ago and they arrived promptly and were well packaged. I performed a cursory inspection of the panels and set them aside until this past weekend at which point I realized one of the panels had cracked in transit. I notified TuuS and he was kind enough to send a replacement panel at half price although he was not responsible for the damage and I did not save any of the packaging material to file a claim with USPS!

Lesson learned - photograph the package upon receipt, inspect all the items carefully and save all the packing material just in case...

His reputation on this forum is certainly well deserved and the panel I installed in my Frankenpad is beautiful - no dead pixels and extremely bright (and uses much less power compared to the CCFL based panel).

Thanks again, TuuS!

Everyone please welcome this new member ctom to our wonderful community.

Thank you very much for the kind words. It was unfortunate that one of the panels cracked. I go to great lengths to do everything humanly possible to package them safely, in this case they were bubble wrapped and triple boxed, but accidents happen and I suspect somewhere enroute the box was dropped causing what looks like a torque fracture from side impact. Naturally the parcel was insured but without the original box and packing materials it would be futile to attempt a claim so I absorbed half the loss to help resolve the issue and I'm sure ctom will become a valuable member of our community here at forum.thinkpads.com.

His payment was prompt and all communications were both prompt and pleasant. I highly recommend him to anyone considering any types purchase/sale/trades and as a new member in our community I hope everyone here makes him feel welcome.

another smooth transaction with Mr. Donald aka TuuS
one 2503 full dock, one T60 board, and some small parts for my T61 arrived safely at my office (but I have to get them at my local post office, since the package was too big to be mounted on a motorcycle, lol )

The package was well packed and our customs only inspect from one side of the box, no harms to the items inside

Now I'm very sure that I can buy large items from USA :D

here are some photos from the package :

Thanks for the feedback Madox, our transaction was smooth and pleasant.

You may also consider writing a review of the shipping service you used as it may be of interest to other international forum members. Madox used a combined (re)shipping service called fishisfast that is based here in the USA. I'm not sure where to post such a review, and I'd advise caution using such a service, but for an international buyer that is getting many items from varied sources in usa it can save you an enormous amount of money.

Also as a bit of trivia, your board has become famous. If I do a search on google images for "NOS T61 board", the first image listed is the exact photo of your board that I took when you purchased it.

http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/1816/nos2russia.jpg

I've wondered if this could be a result of google's spyware-like actions so I did the search on a different computer, different user and different location and got the same result, so either it's a fluke, or you have the most famous T61 motherboard in the world :thumbs-UP:

Thank you JoeCat for the feedback! It was a pleasure dealing with you!

Bought a T420 from underclocker. It arrived in wonderful shape!

UPS misdelivered it, and when I let him know we both gave UPS a few very angry calls and the laptop was in my possession the next day

Hope to do business with you again!
