Where to get an X62s heatsink + fan

I am thinking of installing my X62 motherboard in an X60s shell. AFAIK the only modification needed is a slimmer fan/heatsink. Do people know where I can get one? The only seller that I know about seems to have sold them out https://weidian.com/item.html?itemid=1900559670
Can the x62s fan assembly be built starting from the thermal compound of a particular machine, like the X200s?

Yes, you could solder an X62s fan assembly out of an X6xs or X200s fan assembly (the latter is preferred).

It is also possible to modify your existing X62 fan assembly and mount an X200s fan to it, this is what I did. I posted the conversion with pics on the German forum (you have to log in to see the pictures). If you can wait a few days, I can post them here, too. If something is lost in translation, feel free to ask.

Yep. I modified it. I was inspired by el sahef's tablet mod.

Here's the first try with an X6xs fan and here the improved version with an X200s (maglev) fan.

Okay, here they are. Or at least the most relevant. First, you have to remove (saw, file) the plate where the original fan is mounted on:

Be careful not to saw into the heat pipes! This applies to the next steps as well.

Then remove the small fins on one side of the heat pipes, like in el sahef's post, cut/rip them off with pliers:

Shown here with a modified X6x s/t fan. Be carefull not to destroy the bigger fins on the other side.
Get an X200s fan and cut a piece of sheed metal to matching size, cut the edges of the X200s fan to match the heat pipe and fins:

Make sure, the rotor touches neither the fins nor the heat pipe. You have two options. You can position the rotor above the heat pipe by laying a part of the top surface of the fan onto the fins like I did. This way, there may be a slight pressure on the keyboard from the fan. The other option is to cut open the fan housing on the opposing side to move the fan towards the battery like I did with the X6x s/t fan above. This way, you should be able to seat the rotor next to the heatpipe instead of above it.

My fan fit perfectly onto some soft pads I salvaged from the X60s and an X61t so I didn't need to secure it. The better way would be to tape it to the fins and the heat pipe with heat resistant tape like the original fans.

I don't have the equipment at hand to try that, though. I'll have to keep searching a little more for a ready made one.
