I got this very strange problem with my Yoga 460 that I can not solve on my own. When my power is low and I plug in the AC adapter the mashine gets very slow. A quick check on my CPU-Z stats shows that something prevents the CPU to exit its power saving mode (Multiplier fixed at 4x). I observed this problem up to a power level of 30%, after that the laptops runs smooth again.
The mashine does not enter a software power saving mode visible to me. The problem is consistent when I manually set the power plan to "high performance".
What could be the origin of this problem?
