T430 keyboard ctrl not working

#1 Post by leonwudongning » Mon Sep 04, 2017 7:04 am

I got a T430 and can't use the ctrl hot keys at all. If I plug a USB keyboard to the laptop, I can use ctrl keys on the USB keyboard but not the laptop's one. Can I confirm if I need to change the keyboard of the laptop? Is it faulty already? Thanks.

Maybe functions of left Ctrl and Fn key are swapped in BIOS. Try using Fn key in Windwos instead of Ctrl to see if that's the case.

It works! It is indeed in the BIOS set up for the FN and CTRL key swap enabled! Saving me 40 dollars! Love you guys.
