Looking to buy an used or refurbished X1, but my budget is around $500, so I guess a second or third gen may come at that price. I can easily buy and install more RAM or SSD, so my main priority is to get one with an i7 CPU.

The SSD is easily upgraded.

The memory is probably more difficult.

Dubai actually. On eBay, I see some sellers charge between 45 - 60 dollars for shipping from the US. ARAMEX is generally safe and best to ship here. Amazon uses them as well.
