Yet another i7 upgrade thread...help

I've used the search function and I cant find a cohesive answer so maybe I can get everyones help here in one thread to help myself and future modders out.

I have a t430 (non s) with an i5 3320m and NO discrete GPU (just the integrated hd4000 stuff)...I want to upgrade to an i7 quad core for productivity and to combine with my new eGPU setup for some light gaming.

So questions go as follows:

I know that the i5 3320m is a 35W TDP processor and when upgrading to the i7 quad cores I need to adjust or accomidate for the increased TDP of all the 3rd Generation Quad Core i7s which have a 45W TDP...

Aside from the processor, do I need to upgrade the heatsink and fan assembly? I have read mixed things...Im trying to avoid throttling as much as possible. If an upgrade of the heatsink is needed, which should I be looking for? I've heard stuff about a 2 pipe heatsink design, a single pipe heatsink design and an Nvidia 2 pipe heatsink design, given my config above, which should I look into getting?

I have also heard of having to upgrade the charger to a 90w charger? Is this correct? if so, which one should i look into getting?

Is there anything else that I should take note of?

Ultimately I want to end up with a quad core i7 t430 with 16gb ram and use my expresscard interface eGPU every once and a while for multimedia productivty and light gaming.

On my T420 I used i7-3612qm, i7-3630qm and i7-3610qm. Going from the dual core to quad core required switching to a cooler with dual heat pipes going to the cpu. I assume it will be the same with the T430.

Note: jaspen-meyer used the same (Ivy Bridge) i7-36xx CPUs in his (Sandy Bridge) T420 that you want for your (Ivy Bridge) T430.

I heard somewhere that using 45W CPU inside T4x0 boards stresses the power phases and mobo quite a lot more and results in a shorter lifespan. And yes 45W CPUs run quite a bit hotter. Even in my T530i right now with Arctic Silver the CPU (i7-3720qm) can still throttle quite a bit when running combined stress test with the NVS 5400m. I am considering applying liquid metal onto that thing see if things improve. Afterall, it seems like if temperature allows it, you can OC 5400m by 20% stable, which lifts up a huge bottleneck on that computer.

I don't have dedicated graphics, for that i'll be relying on integrated and a GDC Beast based eGPU. Will heat still be an issue to the point of throttling assuming that I switch to the dual pipe heatsink?

Well, provided that I am using the single heatpipe heatsink right now, it barely handles it, but yes it won't break your computer.
CPU temperature goes into the high 80s and sometimes low 90s, but won't go to a throttling point unless you put GPU load on top of it, in which case the CPU skyrockets up to in the 100 degree range. I had swapped out Arctic Silver for Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut which arrived today, temps improved by around 4-5C now that it won't throttle, but still not ideal.
Though if you are doing light tasks such as YouTube and web browsing, the CPU temps stay nice and cool.
