Suggestion: Automatically hiding huge images?

#1 Post by Thinkpad4by3 » Tue Jun 05, 2018 10:13 am

It seems like every other week that there is another problem with overly large images in tags. I don't imagine that it would be all that difficult to install/implement a check on the file size/image size of an image before it displays. Thoughts?

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

It's more like every other day...
And the sad part is that even old-timers still do not always adhere to the Forum Rules.

Ok, maybe a simpler idea. Make it rule #1? I find it quite hard to find in the page, and newcomers will find it even harder if they dont know about it.
