Lisl von Schlaf (In English: Lizzie of Sleep)
Shouldn't that be: Lisl of Schaf?
After all, she's a shepherd dog... and quite a beauty!

Wait, MikalE, is that a Heckler and Koch G3?

She was named after the character Lisl von Schlaf in the Bond movie, For Your Eyes Only. She is from a K9-bred litter from former East German and Czech imported parents. Her three brothers serve for the Kansas State Police and the Canadian Border Guard. She is fully trained in personal defense, advanced obedience, and urban agility. She is a one-person personal dog, though will tolerate well behaved visitors that do not pose a threat to me.

No issues with getting a Gun License and its fun to bring to Jenga games haha.

When I got my X61 I'll have to admit I didn't care much for the 4:3 screen ratio and felt constrained compared to working with widescreen displays. Then I started using it as the music source for my vintage stereo system consisting of Pioneer SA-520 amp, Optimus 10 Band Graphic Equalizer, Jensen Model 4 speakers and Koss PRO4AAT Titanium headphones:
Since it serves that sole purpose I keep a music related theme to the wallpaper. I run a 20ft extension from my headphone jack to the back of my EQ and have it sitting within arms reach of my recliner. The small footprint and Intel HD Audio make it ideal for this purpose and I recently upgraded the HDD to accommodate my digital music collection..

Windows ME on a 2GB SD card ➜ SD to IDE adapter ➜ installed inside hard drive cartridge shell + cardboard
2 different hardware profiles, one for a 760EL (primary profile) and one for a 760ED (secondary profile).
No sound for the latter as Mwave DSP drivers cause Windows ME to crash, but I plan to install Windows NT 4 if I do ever end up with a fully working unit.
Inset: 760EL (fully functional)
Outset: 760ED (semi-functional, and as the keyboard doesn't work, I have to... uh... get photobombed)

My new IBM Thinkpad T43 running OpenBSD 6.2 with Intel Pentium M @ 2.0GHz, 2GB RAM, 100GB TravelStar PATA HDD @ 7200RPM, 14.1" TFT display at 1024x768, DVD±RW, with Intel 915PM Northbridge and an ATI Mobility Radeon X300 with 64MB on-chip dedicated RAM.
It's in pristine condition and is a pleasure to type on. All things considered, I've assigned it light duty and it now serves as my text editor.

Sorry for off-topic, but is there any reason why are you using Santa Rosa Refresh CPU in late Montevina platform (T400)? If not please consider replacing T7700 with a proper 1066 MHz FSB Penryn CPU.

I'm not very adept with a soldering iron. I tried my hand at it years ago when I was interested in radio equipment and never got the hang of it.
I maxed it out on RAM, got a nice HDD and it's never short on resources so I'm happy.

I use Fluxbox on all 8 of my laptops and have for years. It's available for download from my site along with 61 other wallpapers, if you're interested. Some of which I made myself, though only the Space Pyramid marked so.
Is using Gimp to alter an image your idea of hacking it? Or are you an Xbox user and offended by it? Will Bill Gates be mad at me? It doesn't seem at all odd to me and have never been asked about it before.
I'll post my T400 running FreeBSD with a Harley Quinn wallpaper I made by taking the image from another and reworking it. I don't give that one away and never change it.
