Grand Marnier Yellow Label, or Cordon Jaune: Yellow Label Grand Marnier is considered the lowest quality and is also the lightest color. It is not cognac, but made from corn-distilled alcohol. Therefore, it is often mixed in cocktails or used to flambé it, like crêpes.

Grand Marnier Red Label or Cordon Rouge: This is the standard grade, which is commonly called "Grand Marnier".

Unfortunately yes. While I come from beer country (beer is cheaper than water or any non-alcoholic drink in almost all restaurants/bars over here) I never liked it. I had been a wine connoisseur for past 15 years. Three years ago I became anosmic after a viral infection, there is usually no chance to recover in such case, so the only logical conclusion was to quit drinking at all. Lesson learnt: drink while you can enjoy it :-)

How about making some LESS colorful and more READABLE posts before you start inventing images?
And BTW: properly spelled, it's liquor in English, or liqueur in French.

To add to the conversation...

Up until the late 90's I would  to the Grand Marnier Gods.......

Then I discovered B & B (Benedictine & Bourbon).

My life has been complete ever since :bouncing-bird:

Dave, my friend...

For medicinal purposes nothing beats this one IME:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Brandy-Slivovi ... B07BPD457L

And I'm fairly certain that there must be a shop or two or seven in Toronto that stocks it...

I like Maker’s Mark whiskey.

Gentleman Jack is nice, but more expensive.

So Maker’s Mark it is.
