I believe that we were all hoping for a different price tag. I've just checked our corporate discount at Lenovo and T480 is 100 USD less than A485 with similar specs.
I need to check one more time because this is hard to believe.

I'm waiting for some of the Lenovo insiders to educate us on how these models fill a very important market gap, but a 7-row keyboard (or a 3:2 screen) do not. :)

I want to get my hands on a AMD thinkpad. Youtuber BBISHOPPCM'S World said he was going to get one but he ended going with the T480 because of a rumor that the chassis was more flimsy on the A485/A285.

The more pertinent questions are does the BIOS enable enough power to the machine that it doesn't gimp the GPU without overrunning the cooling system under load.

I'm really tempted to get one of these, now that Lenovo is selling the R5 models at $500 and the R7 models at $600.
