T460s

#1 Post by rsutoratosu » Mon Oct 22, 2018 8:52 am

Wonder if i made an mistake buying one... kinda too late..

I had t400-450; Gave away my t4/41/42. Currently looking to retire my t430 (bottom case cracked). I might replace it before I sell it.

What I like about the t430, SATA SSD, msata SSD and CDRom bay with a 2.5 drive that holds backups of the 2 ssd..

It seems all the new thinkpads lost the sata or msata.. would have been nice to have nvme with a sata or dual nvme.

At least tb nvme are cheaper these days.

Use a 2.5" SATA to dual mSATA adapter?
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

Ok I see what you mean, the regular t460 has sata, 460s does not. I think I should have gotten the 460p which has both sata & m.2
