FS: Parts for a W700 + Other parts
I am considering selling parts for my W700. I have a complete machine, just that from what I can tell the motherboard is damaged.
You can take the whole machine for $200 OBO (Please do offer!), or make an offer for parts. I also have a 230W adapter but I don't think I want to sell it unless someone wants it for a good reason and a good price.
Most parts are in good cosmetic condition. I have everything to make a whole machine besides the motherboard and io/boards which appear to be damaged and the battery which was dead. I think the board was damaged by liquid or a battery leak.
The specifications are: FX2700m, new WXGA+ and inverter, T9400, no boots
The machine is currently disassembled but if you buy the whole thing I will reassemble it.
All electronics should be considered not working except for the new screen
If you want pictures of a part, you can comment here.
This is my first time selling here so hopefully I did everything right
I also have a lot of parts between the 60 and 230 generation so I will make a separate post, but you can always ask if I have something

I think it's WXGA+

I have a working motherboard for this one, so if in need it would come easy to build a working unit out of it.
Too many thinkpads not enough time!

Yeah but a WXGA+ W700 is basically "why bother?"
Just ditch that display and get WUXGA.
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.
The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

Re: FS: Parts for a W700 + Other parts
I fully agree. Upgrading to WUXGA is about $50
