charged the T60 batteries two days ago and I notice that the remaining capicity is still the same as the full charge capicity. I also have a X22. The remaining capicity of new X22 batteries droped about 1% or more everyday and the battery was charged at 95%. I am just wondering if the T60 charges the batteries immediately when the remaining capicity drops so the remaining capicity is always the same as the full charge capicity. How can I set the batteries to be charged at 95% of the full charge capicity? Thank you.

Re: Battery?
The built-in logic is usually set up to not charge unless it drops below 97 or 96 percent. The newer versions of Power Manager will let you set custom charge thresholds - for example (since I don't often need extended mobile runtimes) I set the battery charge thresholds on my T61 to charge up to 70%, but only if the charge dropped below 40%. I don't recall seeing a way do that with the versions supported on the X2* series though. If you want to keep the battery from being charged to 100% after a few days of self discharge you will likely need to remove it from the machine until you're ready to use it.

Why is my P1 Gen 7 so much better on battery? Cool, quiet, fast — but not on AC.
