T70 bios updates / suspend issue?

Hello All,

I have been using T70 for the past few years and I am in general very happy with it. Unfortunately during one of the recent ubuntu updates the kernel was updated and suspend no longer works. I have been trying to debug this in software with the ubuntu folks here: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2429232 , but I also wanted to in parallel see if there was anything I could do on my side. Are there any more T70 bios updates available, is there a good repository where they can be found and downloaded? Are there any settings in the massive BIOS that might help with suspend issues? I have been trial-and-erroring for a while and I am kind of at a loss.
