Replaced the LCD IPS panel but lt's not working

#1 Post by nopefish » Sun Mar 29, 2020 11:01 am

It doesn't have FRU on it. The laptop is x230. The old screen is still working. So it seems i didn't break anything while assembling it. What it might be? Panel is LP125WH2 (SL)(T2).

That LP125WH2-SLT2 LCD is mostly used in Lenovo S230U Twist, with a touch-screen.
I have one of those (without touch-screen) in my X230 since 2016, works perfect.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)

PS: the old Boardroom website is still available on the Wayback Machine

But why mine doesn't work at all? Maybe I can fix it myself?

It's possible that the display might be defective.
