Does anyone know a place to source P/N:01HX690?

Gathering the parts for my T26 has been quite an ordeal. Encompass (fedex who pinned it on encompass technically) unfortunately lost my shipment. I was able to reorder everything except for the power button cosmetic cover (P/N:01HX690). Encompass says its not going to come back to stock, and that they are "unable to contact lenovo to find a replacement." Its up to me to find one now.

Ive been searching around online, and cant find it on the usual places like eBay, AliExpress, etc. The NZ/AU Lenovo parts supplier has it listed as temp out of stock, but I dont have hopes that they will actually get them again. I contacted them regardless. Ive posted a WTB thread on the marketplace as well as r/thinkpadsforsale. Hopefully Ill find something there. I contacted lenovo as well, but they wont be able to sell me any parts without a valid T25 serial number (which I obviously dont have).

Can anyone think of another supplier that may have them?

In the event that I dont find one, does anyone think it would be feasible to cut up an old T420 power button cover? From what I can tell the only reason that cover is longer is for the Thinkvantage button.

There is one on eBay, but I do not know if it ships to your location.

I doubt that it is shorter than the T420's keyboard cover strip. Judging from my own observation, the T25's keyboard cover strip simply appears to not have the ThinkVantage cut-out. That may be the reason why it looks longer for you.

The beveled design of the T420's keyboard cover strip may get in the way, though.

I have a spare, but it's not the right finish. It's just the plastic without the matte rubberized finish. It came on one of my T25 keyboards but I removed it in favor of the part I had ordered previously which had the correct finish. If you want it, just cover shipping. There is also no power button on it...

Thanks for the replies. That eBay listing is an old out-of-stock one that never went down. I contacted the seller, but no luck.

As for the plastic packing bezel, Ive got one as well. I used the T420 power button with it for a temporary fix.
