T430 UPGRADE QUESTIONS

Hi everyone. I decide to upgrade my old t430 to better configuration. At the moment it is running with i5 3520 6gb ram and 13..x7.. screen. I ordered some parts which are : 2x8gb ram 1600 . cpu i7 i7–3632QM and the screen panel replacement which is b140rtn03.2. I have cpu and screen here now just waiting for rams. My questions are: i just tried to replace the screen and after replace looks like it not work ok.. it is covered with stripes from top to the bottom but windows can be still seen looking like in the cloud. At some topics i read that i may need a diferent cable to connect the panel? Can anyone confirm that info? And the other question is about cpu. Is it ok and can i put it on without upgrading cooling system?Just to want to make sure to do not burn my laptop Excuse me for my english and that font i may attach pictures of the screen connected if somebody will confirm that it is safe to connect it again cos i change it back for old lcd.

i got the answer at diferent forum lads the parts nr for that cable is 04W6867 or 04W6868 if anyone is interested..

It is highly recommended to use the discrete fan-version for such a CPU.

Your 3632QM is a 35 TDP CPU, i think you dont need upgrade FAN.

After almost 20 years of jacking Thinkpads my observation is that (especially with the newer models - T400/500 and up) the biggest gains in performance are from 1) SSD upgrade, and 2) RAM upgrade. I've found that processor upgrades have had little practical improvement in performance.
