I've been down that road myself almost exactly 30 years ago. People died that day. And some of us were beaten within an inch of our lives. But we did what needed to be done. Gave sanity one last chance and moved on.

I totally agree with activating section 4 of the 25th amendment: impeach Trump right away.

Exactly what should have happened, and I feel sorry for the woman's family but when she stormed the Capitol building with Congress in session, yes, shoot to kill is appropriate. I am surprised, actually shocked that more terrorists were not dropped as they broke in. Maybe someone at the highest levels told the Capitol Police to stand down and standby so the Congress would be kept from certifying the electoral votes.

There was a Twitter feed showing him at BLM rally last year that seems to have disappeared overnight. I'm not surprised. Will make an attempt to dig deeper for it at some point.

I'm also not surprised at the number of people - politicians included - who were totally OK with cities being burned and looted but couldn't wait to come out and condemn yesterday's protests.

Where are you getting your news from? It was quite obvious watching this in real time that the woman was shot as she was climbing through a broken window. At the time it was unknown which law enforcement agency the shooter was from but it is now confirmed to have been a Capitol police officer. The woman was from San Diego, an Air Force veteran and Trump supporter.
