Thinkpad T4x and Arduino

#1 Post by ziloo » Wed Jul 20, 2022 6:48 am

Hello ThinkPals,

I was wondering whether anybody around here has had
any experience with connecting Arduino (or any other
embedded system) to T4x notebooks?

I remember back in like 2016 I connected Arduino to my ThinkPad T43p with Windows 10, it works just fine although the software is surprisingly responsive enough to use, unlike some other programming shells like PyCharm which would chop all over the place on a T43p.

Thank you for the response kfzhu! When you say "the software",
you mean the IDE that comes with the Arduino?

Yeah that's what I meant. I am not sure about the latest versions though as it's entirely possible the latest versions might want things like SSE3 and Pentium M will simply not run that if that is the case.
