ThinkPad T24???

I’ve run across many listings (battery related usually, but also others) that advertise compatibility with the T20, T21, T22, T23 and the T24? I know that there was no T24, but how could so many places get this wrong? My only guess would be that the T30 was known internally as the T24 at one time? They are similar systems, and a T30 battery will work in T2x systems, but not the other way around, so it could make sense. Another thing is that the anniversary edition is known as the T25, as if a product at some point was known as the T24. Am i reading too much into a simple mistake someone made that ended up being copied? Or is there something to this?

I was sure there was a T24, but now I've just realised that the 'best' T2x was the T23.

Neither of which are related to the T25. I'm glad that's clear.
