LCD Panel Repair A31P?

I'm working on restoring an A31P that was in rough shape. At some point it clearly had an Ultra Bay battery leak inside it which I suspect is what damaged the panel.

Is this first, outer layer, one that can be removed and replaced with a good one from a regular A31 15" panel?

im pretty sure that replacing the whole LCD display would be better than trying to "fix" it. looks realy bad. maybe it just damaged the antiglare film. You can try to remove it and turn it on, in any case, be ready. Check new displays, and proceed when you have enough money to buy that new display if something goes wrong.
