SOLD: Thinkpad T61

Thinkpad T61 (8889-26U), standard 4:3 screen

Intel Core Duo 2 - T9300 ( 6MB L2 Cache ), 8GB RAM ( DDR2-PC6400), 14.1 SXGA+ clean lcd, Nvidia NVS140m, 160GB SATA (Hitachi),Smartcard Reader, DVDRW, Intel Centrino 6300, WWAN MC8775, 9 Cell battery ( tested showing approximately 2hrs + on full charge ), Fingerprint reader, bluetooth

Tested with Linux Mint 22. Limited functionality testing in Linux ( boot os, browsing, youtube video rendering, wifi, trackpoint ) , did not any test any other things in Linux. Was sitting boxed up for almost 10+ years, found it during clean up. Previous hard drive had windows and at the time WWAN, smartcard reader, dvd etc all worked.

Missing rubber feet on bottom.

Right front bottom of lcd bezel has a crack, but hinges work fine and LCD itself is clean and no damage, no dead pixels.

The motherboard was replaced under warranty in 2011 for Nvidia defect, so it has the newer chip and no lose solder problems any more.

Also could NOT get the touchpad working in Linux, not sure if it is a drivers issue anything more. Trackpoint worked fine.

Does "NOT" come with a power adapter. , Repeat NO power adapter will be shipped.
