How to use the ThinkPad Tablet's FM radio? Is FM included?

#1 Post by underclocker » Mon Oct 17, 2011 8:16 am

I've noticed that the ThinkPad Tablet specifications sometimes state that an FM Radio is built in. I also happened to notice that the combo WiFi/Bluetooth adapter has a jack for an FM antenna next to the two WiFi antenna jacks. At least it reads 'FM' next to the jack. There was no antenna attached to the one labeled FM.

Maybe it's only in some markets, but not the U.S.? I have the 1838-25U.

Does/should the Tablets have FM reception capability? If so, what app do you need to use it?

Here is one of the reviews that states "Stereo FM with RDS" --> http://gadgetian.com/21110/lenovo-think ... ecs-price/

Tablets should have FM reception capability, in my opinion. Users can connect an external device if they want to.
